Welcome Me To the LJ Experience!

I finally gave in and got one of these. I really don't know what I hope to accomplish with it, but I'm hoping it will somehow make me popular and minty fresh. Or something like that... I don't expect anyone to actually read this, or even know about it, or anything like that. So maybe I'll just use the livejournal to expand my own ego. How would I do that exactly?
